Screen of Windows 11 developed under the development codename "Sun Valley"Microsoft released in 2015 In 2010, it released Windows 10, which it described as "the last version of Windows." Windows 10 has been provided as Windows that adopts an agile development method that provides upgrades that include functions and security patches once every six months called "function upgrades" without major version upgrades.
Six years have passed since then, and Microsoft seems to have completely changed its mindset. This time, it officially announced "Windows 11" as the next version of Windows 10, which should have been the last version. Mainly from a marketing point of view, it seems that the product name "Windows 11" was given so that it is easy to understand that the major enhancements have been made.
In fact, Windows 11 was originally developed under the development codename "Sun Valley". It has already been available to developers via the Windows Insider Program as part of Windows 10's 21H2 (meaning a feature upgrade that will be available in the second half of 2021). It will be provided after being renamed Windows 11.
