Samsung launches "Galaxy Book2 Pro" series of tablet notebooks with 12th generation Core

　On February 28th (local time), Samsung Electronics in South Korea released its tablet laptops "Galaxy Book2Pro" and "Galaxy Book2Pro360". The development and launch date in Japan are not yet clear.

　"Galaxy Book2Pro" is the Crum shell type, and "Galaxy Book2Pro360" is the 2in1 type with the display screen turned on at 360 degrees. Both have products with 13.3 displays and 15.6 models. "Galaxy Book2Pro360" supports pen input and comes with the company's unique "S pen".

　What the four products have in common is that the 12th generation Core processor (Core i7/i5) is installed in the CPU, the Windows11 is pre-installed in the OS, the memory capacity is selected from 8 GB/16 GB/32 GB, the memory specification is LPDDR5, the USB Type-C counterpart powered by the AC adapter is 65W, and the fingerprint authentication function is included in the power key. This is the built-in 1080p compatible camera and dual-array microphone.

　The main specifications of the Galaxy Book2 Pro with 13.3 display are as follows: The display is 1920 × 1080 pixels and the organic EL,GPU is CPU integrated Intel Iris Xe. The wireless communication function supports Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.1, and up to 1 TB is optional for storage in SSD. The battery capacity is 63Wh.

　The external connection interface has Thunderbolt 4 × 1, USB Type-C × 1, USB 3.2 × 1, HDM × 1, headset / microphone terminals and microSD card slots. The external dimension of the body is about 304.4 (wide) × 199.8 (depth) × 11.2mm (thickness), and the weight of the body is about 0.87mm.

　The main specifications of the Galaxy Book2 Pro with 15.6 display are basically the same as above. Wherein, a product with a display size of 15.6, an Intel Iris Xe integrated as a GPU processor, and a model that is also equipped with Intel Arc as an external GPU, an optional point corresponding to 5G communication, a battery capacity of 68Wh, and a product with optional 5G communication function have a nano SIM slot. The external dimensions and weight of the main body are different.

　The external dimension of the main body is about 355.4 (wide) × 225.8 (deep) × 11.7 (thick) mm, and the thickness of the product equipped with Intel Arc GPU is 13.2mm. The fuselage weighs about 1.11kg and the product equipped with Intel Arc GPU is 1.17kg.

　Galaxy Book2Pro360, both products use organic EL on the display screen, but the maximum brightness is 500nit, and carries a high-performance product with DCI-P3 color space coverage of 120% and contrast ratio of 1 million: 1.

　The main specifications of the Galaxy Book2Pro360 with 13.3 display are as follows: GPU supports CPU integrated Intel Iris Xe, and wireless communication functions support Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.1. Stores a selectable 256GB/512 GB/1TB SSD. The battery capacity is 63Wh. The interface is equipped with Thunderbolt 4 × 1, USB Type-C × 1, headset / microphone terminals and microSD card slots. The external dimension of the body is about 302.5 (width) × 202mm (depth) × 11.5mm (thickness), and the weight of the body is about 1.04kg.

　The main specifications of the display 15.6 are the same as above, the display size of 15.6 and the battery capacity of 68Wh are different, and the external dimensions and weight of the main body are different. The shape dimension of the body is about 354.85 (width) × 227.97 (depth) × 11.9 (thickness) mm, and the weight of the body is about 1.41 kg.
