Use the nostalgic "Demo" to manage Marquita's batteries in uniform style!

Use the nostalgic "Demo" to manage Marquita's batteries in uniform style!

I am infatuated with Makita products.

Since I bought the battery electric fan "CF102D" in the summer of 2018, I have been a complete pastoral fan (the 141st time "bought a Makita fan that can be used in a Han-Uygur car without air conditioning").

CF102D is for people who already love Makita products, or need to buy separately because they don't have a battery. The cordless vacuum cleaner "CL142FDRFW" with 14.4V3.0Ah battery and charger was bought there. If it's a set meal, the battery will be close to half price, so it's a good deal.

Having said that, it turns out that 18V6.0Ah 's batteries are bought separately. Sure enough, there's only one. I'm upset. CF102D is a dual-purpose type that can use 14.4V and 18V batteries. Anyway, it is better to buy a battery with high voltage and high capacity, so I chose the battery with the maximum capacity of 18V.

Mainly 18V battery

The next thing to buy is the reciprocating saw "JR144DZ" (145 "it's easier to prune after buying Makita's electric saw"). It is an electric saw in which the blade moves back and forth and can cut branches and so on. This is that I only bought one entity.

And impact screwdriver "TD171D" (261st "screw" hit and tighten "rechargeable impact screwdriver"). This is the first 18V battery special product in my history. Because there are two kinds of batteries can not be used repeatedly, so it is very troublesome, so make up your mind to prepare a machine that can use 18V.

After that, I bought the USB adapter "ADP05" that can charge the USB device ("the adapter for the battery of the Makita that is useful in case of disaster can be charged by the mobile phone"), and bought the working lamp "ML807" (the working lamp for the general battery of Makita is very convenient, I wish I had bought it as soon as possible! ") Both can use 14.4V and 18V batteries, the same as electric fans.

The battery that begins to add

What is introduced in this series is the above, in fact, there are other things to buy. And there are more.

There is a disc grinder on the fan, and recently, screwdriver drills have joined the ranks. And then come back and the battery will multiply. 14.4V has only the first one, but disk grinders and screwdriver drills have bought ones with batteries, so there are also seven 18V batteries.

In that case, the management is also very hard. Some batteries are often used, but some are not used at all, which leads to a deviation in the frequency of use. I want to use it as evenly as possible.

Buy a nostalgic Daimo

To manage, first of all, you must know which battery is which. I need a label.

I bought Daimo there. 1880 is a manufacturer of embossed labels that people used to miss.

I bought the label maker Demo. I haven't seen you for decades.

Now the mainstream are label manufacturers of printing types that are more convenient and more functional than embossed labels, such as label lighters and label printers. Demo also has such products.

But the embossing model has my own advantage, which is to become like the spare parts of the US military. It was affixed to the box I bought before, so I thought it was a little good. Well, I think it will be imitated one day.

This is a small and light model.

Demo was founded in California in 1958 in the United States. Acquired by Newell Rubbermaid in 2005, Newell Rubbermaid changed its name to Newell Brands in 2016. In addition to Demo, Newell Brands also owns writing tools hoodie, drawing equipment batch ring, American classic label curling, baby products Aprika, outdoor Coleman and other brands.

In the 1940s, when I was very young, Showa was also popular in Japan, and we also had one. I've seen a lot of places in nearby houses, and maybe it feels the same way.

At that time, I held it vertically like a pistol, and the 1880 was like a horizontal grip. The size also has a bigger memory, but it is small enough to fit in the palm of the hand.

The size of the palm and the weight is only 66g of the main body. Even when the tape is loaded, it is only about 78g.

In the actual measurement, the main body weight is 66g. It is only 78g even when unused tape is installed. It's too light.

You can change the dial

Dimo's embossed strap manufacturer has three series: small individuals, general-sized tapes of a wide variety of standards, metal aluminum tape version of professionals, 1880 is the first time an individual can change the dial model.

3 pieces of fuselage and dial, 1 roll of 9 mm wide magnetic tape, watch strap is matched

There are three kinds of dial that come with it. The green dial was initially set with uppercase letters + numbers, pink with lowercase + emoticons, and blue with lowercase + script style font numbers.

Daimo tapes are available in 6, 9 and 12 mm widths. The tape used in the personal series is limited to 9 mm,1880 with a black tape. The color is not fixed, there are also tapes of other colors.

The instructions are only photos.

The usage is on the back of the package. There are no other instructions or anything like that.

懐かしの「ダイモ」でマキタのバッテリーをミリタリー風に管理!

The instructions for using the method have no words, only photos. There's something hard to understand.

In the beginning, except for "Casette9 mm", there are only symbols such as photos and arrows, but no text. I think it is a global counterpart, and it may be a little difficult for people to use it for the first time.

I'm going to put the tape on.

First insert the tape into the body.

Insert the top of the tape into the groove of the fuselage.

I will insert the tip into the groove, but it will soon hit the gear of the tape feed mechanism, so just release the hand and it will fall off.

While pushing the tape, hold the handle once and send it to the tape.

This is solved by gently holding the handle while pushing the tape in. The gears bite so much that they can't even move.

The side part of a cassette tape embedded in the clip of the body.

In the place where "1b" is written in the manual, the clip-shaped part is painted with a U-shaped arrow. I don't know what this means, but after looking at the photo, it seems to be "insert the ink cartridge of the tape here."

I have an ink cartridge.

Because there is no picture from the side, the position of the tape becomes higher, so is it really appropriate? Although very uneasy, but this is fine. It will be better if it is reduced, and the convex part of the front end of the clip will hang on the inside of the ink cartridge, so there will be no mistakes.

Then send the tick-tock tape, and the front end is aligned with the vertical pole mark

After putting away the tape, gently hold the handle 8 times and send it to the top of the tape at the vertical pole sign on the left. So we're ready.

Just put the dial together and hold the handle.

The next step is the engraving of the words.

Turn the dial to set the text

Turn the dial so that the text you want to type is aligned with the protuberance below. Then hold the grip hard this time, Kachin.

Hold the grip hard and type the first word. Because the tape will be sent automatically, it will keep typing the rest of the text.

When the first character is printed, the tape is sent out so that the second character can be typed. The next step is to set the text on the dial, Kachin! The repetition of. When you want to free up space, as long as you hold the handle as gently as at first, you can only use the tape instead of engraving.

I'm going to cut the tape.

After typing the text, hold it gently and send it to the tape.

Send the tape to align the end of the typed text with the pole mark

The last text of the engraved text, as long as it is sent to the vertical pole mark at the beginning. Next, align the dial with the illustration of the scissors.

Put the dial on the scissors and hold it hard.

The illustration of the scissors is the symbol of the knife. If you hold the handle here, the tape will be cut off.

If you pull the tape, it will come out.

The tape is complete!

By the way, this is an example of failure. If you don't hold it properly, the text will get thinner.

So the tape is finished. This kind of tool is very good. It can not only cut the tape to the required length, but also make the plastic that protects the adhesive surface easy to peel off.

You can cut off the edges of the surface tape.

Leave a piece of plastic thickness, only the plastic tape on the watch is cut off about 2 mm from the edge, hold it here and peel off the plastic when you stick it.

The dial can be easily replaced at any time.

When replacing the dial, you only need to turn the dial in the center to remove it and set up a new dial to restore it to its original state.

Rotate the dial 90 degrees and remove

Unplug the dial, insert the new dial and dial the dial back

It doesn't matter if you want to use another character set while typing. The tape can change the dial directly.

Adjust with scissors for a long time

The tape is engraved with voltage and serial number. There is only one 14.4V, so there is only one "14.4V01". Seven copies of 18V from "18V01" to "18V07" have been made.

So, if you want to stick it on the battery, the tape is a little long for the place you want to stick. But no problem. It's easy to break with scissors.

Cut with scissors and adjust the length

It's hard to simply peel off the plastic inside, but it's a pity to cut that part, but there's nothing you can do about it. The plastic is crunchly peeled off with fingernails.

Ticking on the battery. It's like a spare part!

Once there is a label, it looks like a managed product. Although I don't know if I will feel very handsome, but as mentioned earlier, it is super good to give people the impression of returning goods from the US military. It might also be nice to put the right strings on smartphones and computers.
