　However, if you search for an online article, you will find multiple explanations of the capture method on the Windows OS.You may not know which method you can use in your Windows environment and which is suitable.

　So, in this Tech Tips, we organized multiple methods for capturing only windows on Windows OS, and summarized the features, procedures, and precautions as simple as possible.Installation is unnecessary because it is targeted for the functions that are standard on the Windows OS.

Method 1 - [Alt] + [Print Screen] key

[Target: Windows OS in general]

　For Windows PCs, the keyboard should have a keys described as the [Print Screen] key or [PRTSCN].Simply pressing this key is copied the entire desktop as an image to the clipboard.

　When introducing the operation procedure, etc., only active windows and dialogs are often required, so in this case press this key while pressing the [Alt] key.Then the active window is copied as an image to the clipboard.The specific steps are as follows.

●スクリーンショットをOneDriveで即座にファイルに保存するには

　If the file is synchronized with the online storage "OneDrive", the setting is changed as follows, and when the [Alt] + [Print Screen] key is pressed, the screenshot is automatically saved in the file.(It is also copied to the clipboard).

1. タスクバー端のインジケーター領域にある［^］アイコンをクリック

7. ［OK］ボタンをクリックして設定ダイアログを閉じる

Method 2 - [Windows] + [Shift] + [S] key

[Target: Windows 10 version 1809 or later / Windows 11]

　Windows 11 and the latest Windows 10 have another tool (app) that can capture screenshots.Windows 10 is called "Cut & Sketch" and Windows 11 is called "Snipping Tool".This is convenient for processing or using screenshots because the image can be easily processed immediately after the capture.

　The procedures for capturing the window with this feature are as follows.
