　For face authentication, Windows 10, which appeared in 2015, was supported at the OS level by installing Windows Hello.

　This Windows Hello (face authentication) does not work on a normal web camera.In addition to the web camera, a compatible hardware that is compatible with Windows Hello equipped with a short -range infrared light (IR) is essential.

　For example, if a third -party software such as Cyberlink's YouCam is used, it is possible to have a similar function at a normal web camera at the regular web camera.However, I decided to start with hardware that supports Windows Hello (face authentication) because it has not been updated at the moment and does not know whether it will work on Windows 11 and I do not want to install software too much.
