Various types of smartphone stands lined up in 100-yen shops. I think there are many people who get lost because there are too many types. In this article, we checked three Daiso smartphone stands with different shapes from three points in terms of how to use them. [Photo] Comparing different types of smartphone stands Which type of smartphone stand to choose depends on how you use it. Specifically, we recommend that you check by focusing on the following three points. (1) "I want to adjust the height" If you want to use unlocking with face recognition while it is placed on the desk, it is easier to use if it has a little height. While there are many types that can adjust the angle, the types that can also adjust the height are surprisingly limited. (2) "I want to charge the device vertically" It is easy to overlook it, but for the type that can be placed only when the terminal is perfectly attached to the ground surface such as a desk, use the cable with the terminal in the vertical position. Cannot be charged. If you want to see the screen vertically while charging, you should choose a stand that can be fixed while the terminal is floating from the ground plane. (3) "Do you carry it around?" When using it on the go, many people would like to emphasize portability rather than many functions. If it is a lightweight and not bulky type, it will not be stressful even if it is left in the corner of the bag. From these points of view, let's check the usability of the three smartphone stands sold at Daiso for 110 yen. First, the "foldable smartphone stand". It has a simple shape with a coated metal frame bundled with screws. Place your smartphone on the dented frame in the foreground and use the two frames in the back as your feet. You can freely change the angle of the frame on which your smartphone is placed, so you can usually use it while wearing it on your desk, and when charging, you can lift it up a little and connect the cable. Furthermore, by turning the frame at the back upward, it is possible to stably support large terminals such as tablets. The angle of the part used as a foot can be adjusted steplessly. Although the height cannot be changed, it is a stand that can be used with a relatively high degree of freedom for its simplicity in appearance. The next "Multi Stand V" is a two-fold elongated plate-shaped stand. Spread the main body in a V shape and place the smartphone in the slit part to use. It's a little unstable to use vertically, so it seems good to think of it as a horizontal main. If it is placed horizontally, it is possible to place a small tablet such as the iPad mini and use it. You can't adjust the angle, but it's small and light, so it's a good idea to have one for your cell phone. If you want to adjust both angle and height, select a type that has movable parts in two places. This time, I bought a 110 yen product "foldable smartphone stand". When the foldable body is assembled, it looks like this. If you want to change the angle, move the upper moving part, and if you want to change the height, move the lower moving part. However, since the main body is made of plastic, if you install the smartphone while keeping a certain height, the main body will bend and it will be a little unreliable. Also, the moving parts are a little hard, and you have to use a little force to turn them. If you buy a smartphone stand of this shape, you may want to consider a metal one with a little extra budget. I usually use the first type of stand I introduced for work on the go. In addition to being able to be used while charging, it can also be used as a stand when using the iPad as a side display for a notebook PC. In fact, by the time I got to this product, I tried quite a variety of stands, including those other than 100 average products. The three points introduced this time are the points that I noticed. The good thing about 100 is that I don't regret it even if I make a mistake, but I don't want to make a mistake if possible. We hope that you will refer to this article and choose the stand that suits your needs.
