Ford Japan Limited announced that it will introduce a completely improved new "Mustang" in Japan.

From the spring of 2015, the special specification car "50 YEARS EDITION" will be released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Mustang's birth with a limited number of 350 units. The "50 YEARS EDITION" is a left-hand drive specification equipped with a newly developed 2.3L EcoBoost engine on the body of the fastback, and the 50th anniversary emblem is arranged on the exterior and interior. In the latter half of 2015, it will introduce the first right-hand drive in Mustang history, and at the same time add a 5.0L V8 engine and a convertible to the lineup.

The exterior and interior design of the new Mustang has been reborn in a more modern and powerful way, with a modern approach, while retaining the traditional design elements that make it a Mustang at a glance. Ford's latest 2.3L EcoBoost engine, which produces 314ps while having a displacement of 2.3L, has been newly added to the lineup, and a newly developed suspension system has been adopted for both the front and rear suspensions. It has both excellent driving performance and comfort at a high level.

The reservation campaign for the new Mustang "50 YEARS EDITION" will be held from November 1st to February 1st, 2015, and a Mustang 50th Anniversary Book (English version) will be presented as a souvenir for advance reservations.
