Added the function and hand gesture to use Apple "Magic Keyboard" in VR to Meta and Quest 2.
Meta VR headset "Quest 2"
US Meta started offering software update v37 of VR headset "Quest 2" on January 19th (local time). It may take some time to obtain because it is being offered in stages. Quest 2 was a previous update that allowed the physical keyboard not only to be used in VR space, but also to be viewed. The only compatible keyboard was the Logitech Bluetooth keyboard "Logitech K830", but with v37 it is compatible with Apple's "Magic Keyboard". The track keyboard SDK (software development kit) will be released for developers next week. By using this SDK, you will be able to use the K830 and Magic Keyboard in your own apps. One of the improvements in v37 is that it's easier to pass links from smartphones to headsets. Turn on the headset, enable Bluetooth on your Android smartphone, open the website on your smartphone and click "Share". Then select "Open" in the Oculus mobile app and then "Headset" to see the link when you put on the headset. In addition, the 2D panel that displays information in the VR space is divided into two types, "tablet mode" and "desktop mode". In tablet mode, information is displayed together on one 2D panel. On the other hand, in desktop mode, multiple 2D panels are spread out in front of you. In addition, we have introduced a "hand track gesture" function so that you can perform some operations even when you are not using the controller. If you make a gesture like pinching with your thumb and forefinger with your palm facing up, a shortcut menu will appear. With this function, you can easily take screenshots and activate voice commands.
